Links with Egypt and Sudan
Many museums and museum curators collaborate with colleagues in Egypt and Sudan. For instance, curators from the British Museum work at archaeological sites in Egypt and Sudan and the Egypt Exploration Society sponsors fieldwork at a number of sites in Egypt. The British Museum also runs a summer course every year for Egyptian curators and archaeologists and the Griffith Institute offers summer scholarships for Egyptian students and scholars to conduct research in the UK.
