Activities
ACCES holds an Annual General Meeting at one of the Core Member institutions. The first meeting will be held in 2007; the location is to be determined.
In 2005-06, with funding from the MLA, ACCES surveyed roughly 200 collections of Egyptian and Sudanese antiquities in the UK. Information about these collections can be found on the MLA database Cornucopia at www.cornucopia.org.uk. The survey revealed that more than 300,000 objects from Egypt and Sudan can be found in UK museums.
